Barbara M. Harrison, a lifelong resident of Chicago Ridge, who attended both Ridge Central and Our Lady of the Ridge Grade Schools, went on to Mt. Assisi Academy and earned a B.A. from St. Xavier University.  She has had various careers as an Entrepreneur, Author and a Martial Arts Instructor before becoming Village Clerk in 2017. She is currently a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and is working toward her Municipal Clerks Certification. She strives to work with the entire community to improve communication and enjoyment in the Village. Mrs. Harrison believes that Chicago Ridge has always been a community of hardworking, determined people and is proud to call herself one of your own!
