Cook County is currently in Phase 1b and 1b+ of the State of Illinois Vaccination Plan. This means more people will be able to get vaccinated. People who are eligible under this phase include: 1) residents age 65 and older; 2) Essential workers such as first responders, teachers and school staff, corrections, grocery, and public transit workers.; 3) persons with specific health-complicating conditions or status. Cook County has launched a website to help schedule appointments, click here. This site will allow people to schedule a vaccination if appointments are available. This process is expected to take several weeks, we ask for patience from all residents. Appointments will become available as we receive vaccine supply. We have no control over the vaccine supply that we receive.
There is a vaccination appointment hotline through Cook County available for residents who lack Internet access, are not comfortable with technology or prefer to call. That number is 1-833-308-1988 and will be open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There is a mass vaccination site at the Tinley Park Convention Center. Vaccinations will be available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment click here. There are other sites throughout the county as well.
Vaccination appointments can now be scheduled through the Advocate Aurora Health COVID-19 Hotline at 1-866-443-2584 and follow the prompts.
The United Center will now be a mass vaccination site. Vaccinations will be available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment click here. Seniors 65+ will have early registration from Thursday, March 4 at 8:30 a.m. - Sunday, March 7 at 4:00 p.m. Registration for Illinoisans who meet the State's Phase 1b+ eligibility criteria will open Sunday, March 7 at 4:00 p.m. You can also register by phone by calling 1-312-746-4835 Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
