The Village is excited to announce that our “Water Meter Replacement Program” has begun! Your participation in this water system modernization project is mandatory but there is no charge to you, our water customer. Each resident, business, and multi-family building will have a new meter and a remote reader installed. The installation will be completed in sections and the entire project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. United Meters Inc. has been hired to install the meters and a background check has been completed on each installer. Each installer has also been issued a Village ID which they must show to the resident before entering the residence. Letters will be mailed out to each customer and homeowners west of Ridgeland should be receiving their letters within a couple of days. We are asking for your assistance in calling United Meters at 877-533-8964 to schedule your appointment upon receipt of your letter. They will also be going door to door for any customers who do not call in to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions please contact the Village Hall at (708) 425-7700.
