Pet
Licenses
Pet tags may be purchased at the Village Hall for $5.00.
Tags are valid from January 1 to December 31 of each
year. A certificate of vaccination must accompany each
application. See Municipal
Code Chapter 14, Article II, Sections 14-31 through 14-33. You
can print a Dog License application which is located in the
Forms and
Permits page of the Reference Desk section of the
website.
Pooper
Scooper Ordinance
Chicago Ridge has a "pooper-scooper" ordinance which
requires that animal waste be immediately removed by the pet
owner.
Dog
Barking
In consideration of your neighbors, remember that it is
considered a nuisance to allow your animal to bark, howl, or
emit any such loud noise for longer than 15 minutes.
