| Emergency
Management Agency The village emergency services and
disaster agency organization shall perform such emergency
services and disaster relief functions within the village as
shall be prescribed in and by the state emergency services and
disaster agency plan and program prepared by the governor, and
such orders, rules and regulations as may be promulgated by the
governor, and, in addition, shall perform such duties outside
the corporate limits as may be required pursuant to any mutual
aid agreement with any other political subdivision, municipality
or quasi-municipality entered into as provided by the Illinois
Emergency Management Agency, Act, 20 ILCS 3305/1 et seq. (Code
1978, 2-5-3)
E.M.A. is the new department which has replaced E.S.D.A.
Police Chief Rob Pyznarski is the coordinator of E.M.A.
Chief Pyznarski has direct responsibility for the organization,
administration, training and operation of the village emergency
management agency organization, subject to the direction and
control of the village president as provided by statute.
Assisting Chief Pyznarski with day to day operation of E.M.A.
is Commander Bryan Pudinoff . Commander Pudinoff supervises a
Lieutenant and up to 14 active members. These members are paid a
small stipend for their many hours of time devoted to the safety
of our village.
