Spring Clean-Up Days
Dumpsters will be located at 105th & Oxford and 107th & Oak for our annual spring clean up weekends. They will be there on May 10-12, May 17-19, and May 24-27. Please do not place white goods(appliances), yard waste, tires, oil, propane tanks, paint, gas, chemicals, batteries, explosives, concrete, building materials, or recyclables in dumpsters. Electronics can be recycled at our Public Works building located at 10046 Andersen.

Elected Officials
The newly elected official will be sworn in at the Village Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall.

Honor Wall
Chicago Ridge wants to recognize village residents serving in the military and is asking for help to gather an accurate representation. The village has constructed a glass case to be displayed in the atrium of the Eugene L. Siegel Municipal Complex, 10455 Ridgeland Avenue, to recognize and honor soldiers from Chicago Ridge on active duty. The case will include photos and information about each soldier.

 “They are out there defending and serving our country and they should be recognized,” Tokar said. “We would like to recognize these people with a nice space in the atrium to honor them.”

5 x 7 photos of soldiers can be dropped off at Village Hall. Information included should be the soldiers’ names, branch of the military and any information about who they are, where they are stationed and when they are returning home.
